At First United Methodist Church of Homestead, we believe in the power of connection – with God, with one another, and with our community. April is a month of new beginnings.

According to the Bible, Jesus died on the cross, was buried in a tomb, and on the third day, He rose from the dead and later ascended into heaven. God loved us so much that He allowed His only Son to be persecuted and sacrificed. Not many fathers would give up their child to save others—but God did, because His love for us is immeasurable.

We strive to reflect that love in our community by sharing our faith, support, and care through our food pantry, youth group, three worship services, and a variety of school and church events—all open to the public.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to welcoming everyone. Our upcoming events are designed to serve the community and create a warm, inclusive environment for all.
